For the shortest month of the year, I sure felt like February was dragging on a bit! Still, I think I have hit my reading/blogging/reviewing stride again and I feel more up-to-date with my reading related goals (even if GoodReads tells me I am 4 books behind on my 2019 challenge).
Past Month’s Reading:
I managed to read six books this month!
-
- The Slave City by Celine Jeanjean (YA steampunk – 4 stars – review) (read January, reviewed February)
- Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (YA fantasy – 4 stars – review) (read January, reviewed February)
- In Another Life by C. C. Hunter (YA contemporary – 3.5 stars – review)
- Finding Aurora by Rebecca Langham (fantasy – 3 stars – review)
- The Zigzag Effect by Lili Wilkinson (YA contemporary – 3.5 stars – review)
- Second Star by J. M. Sullivan (YA sci-fi – 2.5 stars – review)
- Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor (YA fantasy – 4 stars – review forthcoming)

Favourite Bookish Photo:
I told myself I was just going into the library to use the bathroom. But we all knew that was a lie. In my defence, An Enchantment of Ravens is totally on my TBR, which counts for something, right?! You can see all my bookish photos (plus some RL as well) on my Instagram.
Booktube:
I also started a Booktube channel this month! My plan is to talk about Australian books on it. Here are the videos I posted:
Currently Reading:
Physical book: A Jigsaw of Fire and Stars by Yaba Badoe. I picked this up because of the circus setting. I am staying for the magical realism. I’m not far enough in yet to form an opinion.
Ebook: The Dying Flame by R. L. Sanderson. This is on a bit of a hold while I read my library books.
Audio book: Bird Box by Josh Malerman. Everybody’s watched the movie but since I don’t have Netflix, and also since I deal with horror better in books than on screen, I decided to read the book.
Planning to read next:
I have both ARCs and library books at the moment, so who knows? Though there is a good chance it will be An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson.
What are you reading? 🙂
I really enjoy reading an enchantment of Ravens. It’s well written. Hope you enjoy it too.
