This week in writing
I didn’t quite make my goal of reaching 50k on Memories and Magic (this did have a “with” on the beginning of the title, but I’ve decided it’s better without) by the end of March, but I did reach 49k today! I wrote a total of 3031 words this week, which is the best I’ve done for a while. I have no idea how long this draft is going to be! The villain is still decidedly not defeated! While I have no qualms about A More Complicated Fairytale being on the shorter end of the novel spectrum, I am pleased that this one will be closer to the standard. I’ll keep working away at this one, and hopefully the end will be in sight, maybe by the end of this month!
this week in reading
I finally finished A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab. As I’ve already mentioned here, I think that will be my last Schwab book, as I’m just not that into her. I also finished He Said/She Said by Erin Kelly, which I won in a GoodReads giveaway. It reminded me both why I love the thriller genre and why it sometimes annoys me.
This week in blogging
This is how a good blogger behaves! I replied to all the comments on my Wednesday post and visited both WWW participants and WIPpeteers by Thursday evening. I also got my Conjuring of Light review up on Friday, and have my he Said/She Said review scheduled for Monday. I’m on the ball!
THIS WEEK IN STUDY
I nearly didn’t hand in my assignment on time on Tuesday! but I realised with a couple of hours to spare, and got it submitted Tuesday morning. After that, I didn’t really do a whole lot of study, though I did do some reading yesterday and find a few resources for my next major assignment.
This week in health and fitness
I weighed myself yesterday for the first time in a few weeks and am pleased to report I have lost the weight that I had re-gained. I think (hope) that I have found my stride and I should be able to keep up that momentum. I have made myself another 5kg in 3 months goal, so hopefully this time, I will be successful!
That’s me for this week. How have you all been doing?
