I‘ve missed a couple of Mirth and Music Mondays lately, due to various life circumstances, so a shout-out to Rose from Rose’s Road who has basically been holding the fort. I should be back fairly regularly now, as my Monday nights aren’t going to be taken up by choir rehearsals for the rest of the year.
I’ve been a bit obsessed with this version of the song “All About That Bass” ever since a friend played it to me a few weeks ago. I don’t actually care much for the original, but this girl’s voice is awesome.
For mirth, I have a Charlie Chaplin video that is a sort of relevant to my life right now. My car got rear-ended yesterday and while I am mostly fine (sore neck which I think I’m going to need to see the physio about, but no lasting damage), my car has had to go in for repairs. This video has some amusing vehicle-related moments, so I hope you enjoy!
That’s it from me today, but you can find more Mirth and Music Monday here.
Thanks for the shout out, Emily. *blushes*
That is a lovely version of the song. I have to admit that I’m a sucker for smooth jazz and all 3 of those instruments.
Ah, Charlie Chaplain. One of film’s most iconic underdogs. lol

I know, right? I had this group on Spotify while I was cooking dinner on Tuesday night and I kept getting distracted by swing dancing with an imaginary partner.
Gotta love him, right?

So I’m not the only one who gets distracted by imaginary dance routines? 🙂
